Information for foreign students

Biomedical Engineering (M.Sc.)

In the development of biomedical devices, many challenges extend beyond the realm of engineering and into the world of medicine. With this in mind, the Biomedical Engineering master's degree course was established to provide prospective engineers with appropriate interdisciplinary training in the field.

The course is based at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering due to its fundamentally technical nature. Co-operation with other Faculties, the Hannover Medical School (MHH) and University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) has lead to the development of a unique degree programme.

Internship

The Institute offers a possibility to complete a two or more months internship. We always look for students who are interested in our research projects. Further details are available on our homepage in the field of research. In some cases we provide support in terms of about 500€. We make also arrangements for apartments and residence permit, if necessary. Unfortunately, we can not provide support for travelling. For your travelling costs please inform yourself at the homepage of the German Exchange Service (DAAD).

For more information do not hesitate to contact us or send us your complete application documents.

Intercultural Tandem

To improve your German skills and according to this increase of credits the institute offers an intercultural tandem for foreign students. Persons who speaks excellent German and persons who would like to improve their German skills build tandem pairs. These pairs get together ca. 1-2 times a week and undertake something together for example going to theater. These meetings are individually coordinated between two participants. Moreover, there are meetings with all tandem partners ca. 1 time a month (X-mas and culinary evening).
