Training as a precision mechanic

To promote the next generation of skilled workers, the Institute for Multiphase Processes offers apprenticeships in its workshop in the field of precision mechanics / specializing in mechanical engineering. The training is designed to last three and a half years and aims to obtain a certificate of apprenticeship. The training takes place in the dual system, which means that in addition to the practical work in the institute's workshop, the theoretical part is mainly taught in the vocational school (BBS ME Hanover). In addition, courses are held in the Chamber of Crafts (FBZ Garbsen) and the Welding Training Institute (SLV Hannover-Linden). In conjunction with other university institutions, workshops are also held to prepare for the final exams Part 1 & Part 2.

In principle, there is also the possibility of a two-week internship for pupils from 16 to 18 years old. In all cases, applications should be sent to the workshop manager, Mr. André Papke.
