The Institute for Multiphase Processes offers a wide range of courses for students that reflect the interdisciplinary areas of process engineering and biomedical engineering. The IMP is in constant contact with other scientific faculties of the LUH as well as cooperation partners from the Hannover Medical School, the Hannover Veterinary University Foundation and the Frauenhofer ITEM. The range of courses offers students the teaching of advanced skills in engineering and biomedical engineering. In the lectures, current issues in research and development are dealt with on the basis of scientific standards. Students learn further practical relevance, presentation skills and other soft skills in exercises and laboratories accompanying the lectures. In addition, the institute offers regular excursions to specialist companies and trade fairs.
